Phobias

A phobia is an extreme or irrational fear  or aversion to something.

You may be terrified of spiders, or the sight of blood. Perhaps you cannot face travelling by aeroplane, or you hate heights, or going to the dentist? Some people are deeply afraid of public speaking, others panic at the thought of snakes. Common phobias also include fear of eating out, of open spaces, closed-in spaces, blood, being sick, animals, needles.

School phobia is recognised as a condition affecting children and young people. It may be triggered by bullying or a fear of exams, or other confidence issues.

More than 300 different phobias have been recorded, and there are probably many more. They cause severe emotional stress and can totally spoil your life.

Phobias are often triggered by traumatic events in early childhood.

Hypnotherapy is probably the easiest, safest and easiest way to deal with phobias.
